CO-FOUNDER

Dr. Eveline Beer

Dr. Eveline Beer is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of the Women in Defense Tech network, an organization dedicated to fostering innovation, inclusion and collaboration at the intersection of technology and national security.

Eveline is an infrastructure investment professional with over 16 years of international experience across investment banking, asset management, research and entrepreneurship. Her expertise covers the entire infrastructure spectrum (transport, utilities, renewables and social). She holds a PhD on the impact of technological innovation on transportation infrastructure assets.

As a certified leadership and performance coach, trained by ACT and Brown University, she coaches the next generation of leaders and changemakers. Her current focus is on the interplay of critical infrastructure and defense technology and on investments in European defense tech startups.

Anna Wojtas

Anna Wojtas is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of the Women in Defense Tech network, an organization dedicated to fostering innovation, inclusion, and collaboration at the intersection of technology and national security. She is an accomplished business leader and strategist with extensive experience driving the growth of advanced technology solutions across international markets. Her leadership has been instrumental in delivering high-impact initiatives in the fields of homeland security, defense, and intelligence.

Previously, Ms. Wojtas held senior roles at organizations such as Palantir Technologies and rola Security Solutions, where she led strategic market expansion and built enduring partnerships across the public and private sectors.

Today, she serves as an advisor to emerging defense tech startups, contributing deep expertise in government affairs, security policy, and transformational leadership to support the development of next-generation capabilities.

Yulyia Maltseva

Yuliya Maltseva is the Co-Founder of Women in Defense Tech network, an initiative dedicated to fostering innovation, collaboration and inclusion across borders, for a sovereign Europe.

Yuliya’s background lies in business development, at the intersection of procurement, international frameworks and multistakeholder relations. Her knowledge lies in UAS and CUAS innovation.

ASSOCIATE

Mariia Cherpak

Mariia Cherpak is a Partnerships & Growth Associate focused on expanding and engaging the European defense tech ecosystem.

She builds and manages relationships with startups, industry leaders, and institutional stakeholders, supporting initiatives that strengthen collaboration and enable cross-border cooperation.

Her background combines operational and ecosystem-building experience, including managing complex projects with international partners and defense institutions, as well as contributing to the development of a European defense tech network. She brings particular expertise in Ukraine–Germany cooperation.

Marla Judemann

Marla Judemann is a Munich Associate supporting the growth and scaling of Women in Defense Tech’s events and ecosystem engagement in one of Europe’s most active tech and security hubs.

She is experienced in strategic communication, political outreach, and advisory, she works closely with companies, primes, and investors at the intersection of policy, industry, and procurement.

Her background enables her to contribute to building meaningful connections across stakeholders and shaping formats that foster high-quality exchange within the defense and innovation ecosystem.

ASSOCIATE

Rebecca Reinecke

Rebecca Reinecke is a Thought Leadership & Policy Associate contributing to the development of Women in Defense Tech’s policy perspective and strategic positioning across the defense ecosystem.

She works at the intersection of government, industry, and technology, with a focus on defense markets, dual-use innovation, and security policy. In her role, she supports the development of insights and formats that connect policy discussions with industry realities.

Alongside her work in Women in Defense Tech, Rebecca is engaged in government business development across emerging defense markets, bringing experience across diplomatic, military, and industry stakeholders in Europe and the Indo-Pacific.

ASSOCIATE

Emily Kochhaeuser

Emily is the Academic Cooperation & Talent Associate at Women in Defense Tech, focused on connecting emerging talent with the European defense tech ecosystem.

She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Criminal Justice Policy at the London School of Economics, with an academic background in Criminology, Peace and Conflict Studies. Her experience includes building academic communities around defence, security, and international affairs. She is also a Senior Event Organizer at the LSE War Studies Society, delivering events focused on defence and security topics. Her work at Women in Defense Tech focuses on creating opportunities for students and early-career talent to engage with the sector through learning, collaboration, and ecosystem-building across Germany and Europe.

ASSOCIATE

Christina Figlus

Christina is the Finance & Capital Associate at Women in Defense Tech, focused on the intersection of defense technology, venture capital, and transatlantic cooperation.

Her background spans strategic operations, research, government relations, and due diligence across defense, government, and venture communities. American-born and raised in Ukraine, she brings a first-hand understanding of European security and defense innovation, shaped by the Russo-Ukrainian War since 2014.

Christina holds a BA from Yale University and an MPhil from St. Edmund Hall, University of Oxford. At Women in Defense Tech, she supports the development of connections between investors, founders, and policy actors across the UK, US, Europe, and Ukraine, while contributing to the growth of the network’s presence in London and across the transatlantic ecosystem.
